quilt tops, blocks, clothing, or home décor projects.
You don’t have to be part of a guild to join us —
just bring your machine, your projects, and your love of sewing!
What's Waiting at Your Sewing Spot
We’ve thought of everything so you can just show up and sew! Our retreat room is a spacious 1,700 sq. ft. sewing space. Each quilter gets their own comfy L-shaped sewing station complete with:
A handy drink holder (because caffeine is a sewing notion, right?)
A little trash bag for snips and threads
A cutting mat right at your seat
A bright LED lamp for late-night stitches
Around the room, you’ll also find:
Irons and ironing boards (no need to pack your own!)
Design boards and a large cutting table
Access to our AccuQuilt GO! cutters — both electric and manual — plus a wide variety of dies to play with
All you have to bring? Your machine, your projects, and your love of quilting.
Where You’ll Stay
Our retreats are held at the La Quinta Inn & Suites in Paducah, Kentucky — featuring clean, spacious rooms, complimentary breakfast, and a refreshing indoor pool.
The retreat takes place right in the hotel’s bright, comfortable conference room, set up just for our group. You can sew all day, relax in your room, or enjoy the nearby dining and shopping — all without ever being far from your machine.

Every retreat includes:
A fun theme to set the tone for each retreat

How It All Began
Our first retreat took place in November 2023, and what started as “a simple beginning” quickly turned into something special. That very first group proudly named themselves Charter Members — and many of them have attended multiple retreats since!
At Paducah Quilt Retreat, our goal is simple:
to create a space where quilters can have fun, accomplish projects, and build lasting friendships.
With room for 23 attendees at each retreat, we’ve found the perfect group size for laughter, encouragement, and plenty of sewing time.
